The Trade Law Centre for Southern Africa is a capacity-building organisation developing trade-related capacity in east and southern Africa. The organisation aims to enhance the trade law and policy capacity in this region and works with governments and non-state actors including private sector and civil society organisations.
NAMC and Tralac partnership is focused on South Africa and the BRICS. The project assesses the implications (both risk and opportunities) of South Africa’s membership of the BRIC group countries. The project aims to produce its first BRICS report on matters relating to; the economic and political economy engagement among BRICS countries, assessing agricultural policy in the BRICS Countries, assessing the export performance of the BRIC countries to Africa and to assess agricultural export opportunities as well as investment opportunities for South Africa.
These outcomes are expected to form a policy brief.
