The Agricultural Trusts Division was established to manage and coordinate the communication process between the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Agricultural Industry Trusts.
The purpose of the Statutory Measures Division is to facilitate the process to implement statutory measures in order to promote the efficiency of the marketing of agricultural products.
The NAMC was established in terms of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act No. 47 of 1996, as amended by Act No 59 of 1997 and Act No. 52 of 2001.
